Calo: I see you on the Funky Friends list and thought I would stop by and say "Hello"
Dennis: Just by to say hello, wonderful insight, for one so young I didn't have that much to think about until I was twice your age! Keep it up Dennis
Funky: Me again!! I have added you to my friends list I hope this is OK
Funky: Here's the truth: pigs prefer to keep themselves clean. The problem is that pigs can't sweat very much. Sweating helps you keep an even temperature. As sweat evaporates, it absorbs heat away from your body. Because hogs have very few sweat glands, they have to find other ways to keep cool. Pigs would much rather lounge in a clean pool of water, but that usually isn't an option. So, pigs lie in mud. The mud absorbs their bodies' excess heat I hope this helps!!!
Pete aka Funky: Greetings from England!! I am a farmer myself - was browsing and found your site. Stop by and visit Funky and Friends.
Blossom: I really enjoy the wisdom of your entries. Mind if I add you to my friends list? You are a daily "must read".
Louis: Somebody stole all my tags, so I thought I'd visit again.
Diddleysquat: Well, it's thursday!
Diddleysquat: I asked because I was sitting here thinking I am sweating like a pig and then it occurred to me that was an assumption on my part. I'd no idea if pigs sweat. Just thought you might know!
dennis: I'm not sure if pigs sweat. But I know they smell terrible. We don't have pigs but the Amish guy across the street does and that's as close to pigs as I want to get
Diddleysquat: Do pigs sweat?
Diddleysquat: Top o' the morn to you!
Ranae': Hi Dennis, I am adding you to mine as well. Another deep thought, the "EGO"

Ranae': Enjoyed browsing your Journal. I am curious... I posed this questions to others long ago, what are your thoughts. - " Can a human being accomplish being COMPLETEY HONEST in all ways?" Drop me a tag if you'd like. I shall be back again.

haying

Doing lots of hay today.  Very good disciple.  To make this trip happen takes a lot of energy.  Just about every ounce of it we have.  But the return of energy will get us through the winter.  I rather work hard making hay than to bow down to some control freak.  Hay is hard on the body but great for the soul.
