Dennis: Just by to say hello, wonderful insight, for one so young I didn't have that much to think about until I was twice your age! Keep it up Dennis
Funky: Me again!! I have added you to my friends list I hope this is OK
Funky: Here's the truth: pigs prefer to keep themselves clean. The problem is that pigs can't sweat very much. Sweating helps you keep an even temperature. As sweat evaporates, it absorbs heat away from your body. Because hogs have very few sweat glands, they have to find other ways to keep cool. Pigs would much rather lounge in a clean pool of water, but that usually isn't an option. So, pigs lie in mud. The mud absorbs their bodies' excess heat I hope this helps!!!
Pete aka Funky: Greetings from England!! I am a farmer myself - was browsing and found your site. Stop by and visit Funky and Friends.
Blossom: I really enjoy the wisdom of your entries. Mind if I add you to my friends list? You are a daily "must read".
Louis: Somebody stole all my tags, so I thought I'd visit again.
Diddleysquat: Well, it's thursday!
Diddleysquat: I asked because I was sitting here thinking I am sweating like a pig and then it occurred to me that was an assumption on my part. I'd no idea if pigs sweat. Just thought you might know!
dennis: I'm not sure if pigs sweat. But I know they smell terrible. We don't have pigs but the Amish guy across the street does and that's as close to pigs as I want to get
Diddleysquat: Do pigs sweat?
Diddleysquat: Top o' the morn to you!
Ranae': Hi Dennis, I am adding you to mine as well. Another deep thought, the "EGO"

intellect and ego

The goal of the ego is to be number one with as many people as it can.  The role of the intellect is to help it accomplish this goal by telling it what to say to whom and when.  This all makes for a great game until the intellect starts drawing on your personal power in the form of worry to keep the ego inflated.  At this point I usually stop the energy flow by not worrying and watch the ego die.  Sometimes it's a horrible death and then there is silence.  If you can accept the silence and the truth that you are not your ego, the ego will eventually rise again, bigger and uglier than ever.

Dennis, is that a child crossing sign in the middle of the yard?

That is a school crossing sign. Just behind that white house is a one room Amish school house. If the Amish didn't have their own school there wouldn't be such a thing as Amish anymore.
